Join us for our 3rd Annual Open House FriendRaiser!
Our 3rd Annual At the Capital two day event is coming up in January 2012. On Tuesday, January 24, new and old friends of Communities In Schools will gather for hors d’oeuvres and cocktails at our FriendRaiser, learning more about the strong school-community relationship that provides the critical support students need to perform their best. Our FriendRaiser brings together people who are all working toward the common goal of helping children reach their highest potential. It’s an opportunity to get to know our organization and others who share a commitment to children and education.
The event will be held at the Governor’s Row House, 811 SW Buchanan, in Topeka from 4:30-7:30 pm. All are welcome to join us as friends and community are vital to the success of the students we serve. View our invitation and RSVP here. The following day, staff and board members from the state office and local affiliates will participate in our Day at the Statehouse, visiting legislators and advocating for the students and families we serve.
