Leading the way for graduating our youth

Across Kansas we advocate for struggling kids and families by informing policy-makers about our school-based model, encouraging businesses to invest in their future workforce, and inspiring citizens to volunteer on behalf of struggling children and families.

For our Kansas affiliates, we increase their capacity to serve by providing expertise which allows them to focus their energy on direct service to kids.  Some areas of support for local affiliates include:

Bring CIS to your community

The state office also works hand-in-hand with communities to develop CIS programs that will improve outcomes for their students and schools. Local Communities In Schools affiliates start through the interest and hard work of concerned citizens like you. Communities In Schools of Kansas can help lead your community on the road to starting a successful CIS affiliate.
